Navigation Is a Drive

Directions count as a drive. FastTrack records the trip and saves it to your history when you tap End, so a navigated drive shows up alongside every other one with its route, top speed, and average speed. If a drive is already running, directions join it instead of starting a second. That means the same GPS you rely on for 0-60 timing and leaderboards is working while you commute. Open any drive afterward to replay it, with a g force meter, speed, grade and heading, and a G TRACE of every corner and stop.

Does FastTrack navigation work with Apple CarPlay?

Yes, on iPhone. FastTrack navigation runs on Apple CarPlay, and your next turn, distance, and ETA also appear on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island so you can lock your phone and keep navigating. On Android, turn-by-turn navigation is rolling out.

Can I see all my drives on one map?

Yes. The Drives tab in your Garage shows every drive as a route line on one map, opening on the area where you drive most. Tap the map to expand it, then tap any line to see that drive and open it. Where routes overlap, a short list shows each drive there with its date, vehicle, distance, top speed, and duration. Pinch to zoom in place, tap recenter to reset the view, and use the layers button on the expanded map to switch between light, dark, satellite, and hybrid. The map follows your vehicle filter, and a drive that ends outside your usual start town is tagged with the town it ended in, on the map and in your Drives list. It works on iPhone and Android.

Who can see my drive map?

Only you. The drive map shows only your own drives, and no one else can view it. Road names and towns from your drives are never shown to other people.

Can I save destinations and routes?

Yes. Tap the star to save a destination and name it whatever you want, like Home, Gym, or work, and it appears as a quick-pick chip the next time you open Navigate. You can also bookmark an A-to-B route to see how many times you have driven it, your average time stopped, and the time of day that route is typically fastest. Route stats sync across your devices.

Is FastTrack navigation free?

Yes. Navigation is included free, like every other FastTrack feature. There is no subscription and no hardware to buy. Location access and a GPS lock are required to navigate.
