Target Specifications

Program Overview

Not a show car. A record-attempt car, a halo for FastTrack, and a rolling development platform. A purpose-built Sierra Echo chassis, the Audi supercharged 3.0T V6 and DL501 dual-clutch transmission, and as much of the factory Audi control architecture as practical. Testing begins October 2027, with a full competition season in 2028.

Time attack

One car, one driver, the clock. Aero, cooling, and tire management decide the lap.

Hill climb

Single runs up closed mountain roads, where power-to-weight and traction carry the day.

Pikes Peak

The Race to the Clouds. Thin air at the top makes cooling and boost control part of the fight. The course climbs from 9,390 ft to a 14,115 ft finish over 12.42 miles and 156 turns.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Sierra Echo competition program?

FastTrack Motorsports is building a Sierra Echo as a dedicated time attack, hill climb, and record-attempt car. It pairs the lightweight Sierra chassis with the Audi supercharged 3.0T V6 and DL501 dual-clutch transmission, retaining as much of the factory Audi control architecture as practical. The car targets 1,500-1,700 lb and roughly 500 whp in its initial configuration.

What kinds of partners is FastTrack looking for?

Three tiers: manufacturer partners who supply components, consumables, or category-specific hardware; technical partners who contribute engineering, calibration, design, or testing support; and program partners who provide major product, financial, or logistical support with expanded branding and activation.

What does a partner receive?

Branding across the vehicle, build and development content, event appearances, and competition coverage, plus potential promotional and advertising placement inside the FastTrack app. Partner products are shown during fabrication, setup, and problem-solving, and where appropriate testing documents real performance data such as temperatures, pressures, lap data, and reliability.

When does the car compete?

The car begins testing in late 2027, and its first full competition season is 2028, targeting 6-8 events across hill climb, time attack, Pikes Peak, and selected record attempts.

Where will the car appear?

At competition events during the 2028 campaign, in build and testing content on FastTrack and supporting social channels, and, as the program grows, at major industry shows such as SEMA and PRI.
